COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES AT AUTHENTIC BEAUTY MAKEUP SALON & BROW STUDIO
  • You must have a booked appointment to come in. No walk ins please.
  • We request a 48-hour cancellation notice.
  • Please, no extra guests at your time of service.
  • Please bring as little as possible to your appointment (jackets, purses etc.)
  • No beverages will be available at this time.
  • We ask for you to not have your phones out at the time of your service.
  • A legal waiver will be required for anyone who is receiving a service. This will be sent to you prior to your service. If we do not have it 24 hours before your appointment, we will cancel your appointment. Do NOT bring it with you. We will require it ahead of time. We are trying to minimize the number of interactions with the front desk staff.
  • We will be contacting you before your appointment time to make sure we have an updated credit card on file. If you would like to tip your artist or staff member, please let the receptionist know in your appointment confirmation so we can add this to your ticket. There will be tip envelopes available; however, it is recommended to not exchange cash at this time. No change will be provided.
  • We are limiting the number of staff and clients in the studio at one time.
  • The staff will be wearing face shields and masks, protective clothing and using disposable gloves.
  • We will be thoroughly sanitizing every surface, countertop and implement used between each client.
  • We are asking for you to wait in your car until we are ready to take care of you. We are minimizing the number of people in the studio at one time. We will text or signal you when it is your turn.
  • You MUST wear a mask when entering the building covering your nose and mouth. No one will be admitted without one.
  • Your temperature will be taken, and you will be asked health questions before your service.
  • If we are concerned you are not well, infected, or you are in a household with a previously sick or quarantined person, we have the right to refuse service.
  • You will wash your hands after entering the building (if you are able to bring your own sanitizer that would be helpful as we have a limited supply.)
  • We will not be performing some services until we feel it is safe to do so.
  • We are unable to provide blowdrys at this time as no blowing air is suggested.
  • If you are receiving a haircut, please come with your hair wet. The shampoo area will only be reserved for color clients.
  • We are making a safe area for our “at risk” clients. If you are over 55 and would like to be seen in a private room, please email the front desk and let us know so we can accommodate you.
  • If you need assistance with retail, you can let us know ahead of time and we can have it pulled for you and ready. If you need to choose an item, let us know ahead of time so we may create a sterile working environment. You will have to wear a mask at all times.
  • We will be adding a PPE charge of $2.00 for your service
