On Saturday, March 29th, join Authentic Beauty Makeup Salon & Brow Studio in Atlanta for Quiet Heroes—a powerful and heartfelt annual luncheon hosted by CURE Childhood Cancer to honor the mothers of children with cancer.
These are the women who never stop. As their children endure chemo, radiation, surgeries, and the constant uncertainty of cancer, these moms are there—at hospital bedsides, in waiting rooms, at home—holding everything together. Their strength is relentless. Their love, infinite. Their heartbreak, unimaginable. And still, they continue.

Held at Flourish Atlanta (3143 Maple Dr NE, Atlanta) from 11 AM to 2 PM, the Quiet Heroes luncheon is for them. A sacred pause in the chaos. A rare moment to be seen, celebrated, and surrounded by people who understand. Now in its 20th year, this gathering offers something these women rarely receive: a chance to breathe, to be cared for, and to be celebrated simply for who they are.
Authentic Beauty Makeup Salon & Brow Studio in Atlanta is honored to return for the 15th consecutive year, offering complimentary makeup services and pampering for these moms at this meaningful event. For many of these women, it may be the first time in months they’ve paused for themselves. A peaceful moment of reflection. The gentle brush of makeup. A reminder that they are radiant, beautiful, valued, and never alone.

A Day to Be Seen, Celebrated, & Surrounded with Love
Quiet Heroes is not just a lunch. It’s a space of hope, healing, sisterhood, and deep recognition. It brings together more than 250 moms and hundreds of supporters for a day of community, laughter, compassion, and light.
This year’s program includes returning emcee Jenn Hobby, keynote speaker Keith Alberstadt, a performance by American Idol winner Candice Glover, and the vibrant SCAD HoneyBees. Founders Chris and Tom Glavine will also return to commemorate this milestone 20th anniversary, alongside Presenting Sponsor Delta Air Lines.
“These moms never get a break from being caretakers, advocates, or medical decision-makers. Their strength is quiet, constant, and often unseen. But on this day, they get to exhale. They get to feel the light on their face, the brush on their skin, and the reminder that they are more than the fight—they are women who deserve to be cared for, celebrated, and seen in their full beauty,” said Alyson Hoag, CEO and Founder of Authentic Beauty & Genuist Beauty. “With every touch of makeup, it’s our honor to reflect that radiance back to them.”
To every mother who has sat in our chair over the past 15 years—you are our heroes. You always have been.
