Spark & Hustle National Conference
I wanted to talk about Authentic Beauty’s participation in the Spark & Hustle conference at the Cobb Galleria from Thursday, July 29 to Saturday, July 31, hosted by Good Morning America’s Tory Johnson. The conference covers everything critical to women’s success in the business world. This event will allow participants the opportunity to leverage the knowledge & strategy of a group of small business owners, including me. The conference offers real-world, right-now tactics and strategies to launch or grow a small business. This three-day program led by Tory focuses on tangible take-aways that current and aspiring small business owners can begin to implement when they return back to work Monday morning to see immediate results.
More specifically, I’ll be talking about being your authentic self in the business world, authentically building your brand & company, being clear about your objectives & goals of your business, what your business stands for and about who you are. The conference’s hostess, Tory Johnson, has also embraced her authentic self. I’m so happy I get to meet & work with her ( I will also be doing her makeup for the 3 days of the conference). I’m also so honored that that Laura Scholz with CRAVE Atlanta and Robyn Spizman suggested me to participate in Spark & Hustle.
I really am inspired by Tory Johnson & her story. She was fired unexpectedly from her job at NBC News, and this inspired her to shift from employee to entrepreneur. In 1999, she founded Women For Hire, and grew it from $5,000 to a multimillion-dollar venture with a national presence. She is a workplace contributor on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” giving no-nonsense career advice. She is so savvy & smart!
