She’s been doing makeup professionally for everyday clients of all ages, as well as brides, actors, models, and for photographers. Rosie said it is important to recognize that teens and young adults grew up with social media and “they have YouTube university including TikTok and Instagram. When I go into those makeup lessons with teens and college aged clients, they often already have incredible knowledge,” she said. Or they have a sense of what they are looking for coming into a lesson. Instead, she will often teach teens skills like picking out specific colors that suit their coloring and easier ways to do advanced techniques.
