With a one-on-one makeup lesson with one of our expert makeup artists, you can learn to:

Our artists can teach you a quick five minute makeup look and help you segue that look with ease for a night on the town.
- Maybe you never learned how to apply makeup or you are stuck in the makeup past. Authentic Beauty is an all ages makeup studio and we take care of generations of clients from teens to nonagenarians. That means we have a makeup lesson for the beginner and seasoned makeup wearer, and everyone in between who wants to learn new makeup techniques, so you can look stunning at all stages of life.
The Image Journey- a specialized makeup lesson that goes beyond the makeup brush
The Image Journey, a transformative, 90 minute makeup lesson, is Authentic Beauty’s signature makeup lesson that helps you find and then create an exterior image that is an expression of your inner, Authentic Self. It’s a metamorphic makeup experience that allows you to sit back and reflect on how you currently look in the mirror, and affords you the time to analyze who YOU want to be with professional makeup artists right by your side guiding you and helping you along the way.
Prior to your Image Journey makeup lesson, you will have simple homework to complete at home that you will bring with you to your session that includes exploring pictures and images from magazines and online of looks that you love. Then, you will pin those images to your own Pinterest board or paste them to your vision board. You will also bring all your own makeup and brushes with you so your artist can evaluate what you already own and utilize those tools to create your unique look.
Then, your personal makeup artist at Authentic Beauty will show you exactly how to create and then master the looks you love. At the end of your makeup lesson, you will leave with a face chart detailing the process step-by-step so you can recreate your ideal look at home. This fun and informative lesson also includes a free follow-up session to ensure you can recreate the makeup techniques you learned!

Our salon is open through December 23rd. We will be closed on the 24th and 25th, and open again on December 26th. We are also taking special appointments for New Year’s Eve makeup by request only. The salon is closed on the 31st for regular salon services, but we can take a few special appointments while they last.
