This isn’t surprising, since mascara (in particular) is an excellent way to make your eyes pop by appearing larger, more alert and more feminine. Our lash tinting, lash lifts and eyelash extensions are all completely safe and long-lasting (though times largely depend on care and your individual lash cycle). What’s more? All of them can also be used in tandem with our unbelievable lash serum to gradually plump up sparse lashes while still looking great while they grow!
EYELASH EXTENSIONS
Many women first opt for eyelash extensions around a special occasion, like a wedding or other big event, and keep coming back because the results are absolutely incredible. You know that mascara pop we mentioned? Eyelash extensions are more like a POP!!! Although we highly recommend coming in a full month before special occasions for a full set of lash extensions and then getting a fill in before the big day, the added bonus is you really don’t need the excuse of a special occasion to treat yourself to this service.
Eyelash extensions can last for between six and eight weeks, depending on care and your normal lash cycle, but they do require regular upkeep to maintain. This is because the normal woman sheds an average of two to three lashes every day, and the gaps this creates (which normally go unnoticed) can be more pronounced when you have lush-looking lash extensions.
Women have between 80 and 100 lashes on each eye (so don’t sweat the shed), and lash extensions require separating all of these before carefully applying each individual lash with tweezers– hair by hair. For this reason, a full set of lash extensions can take up to two hours to apply, and it is not recommended to wear mascara with your new set of lash extensions. Trust us, you won’t need it!
LASH LIFT
If you’re not ready to commit to the regular upkeep of lash extensions, already have fairly full lashes or just can’t stand the thought of leaving the house without mascara at least some of the time, our lash lift service may be right for you. Lash lifts use a conditioning lotion that makes lashes curl and is a great alternative to lash extensions because it’s much lower maintenance and mascara can still be worn if desired (though you really won’t need it except, maybe, with full face makeup).
This totally safe process (so safe you could even do it twice in a row) begins by measuring the application rod to the length of your lashes and determining whether they are long and healthy enough for a lash lift. There are some people who are not good candidates for a lash lift (for example, if your lashes are too short from wearing lash extensions, if you pull on your lashes or pull them out or if your lashes are already too curly), and it may take more than one appointment to see full desired results. Even if you’re not a great candidate for a lash lift, which our highly trained team can assess, the same product can also relax your lashes.
Once our team has determined you’re a good candidate for a lash lift, they’ll spread glue onto the lash rods and comb your lashes up evenly, making sure not to criss cross them. Once your lashes are evenly distributed on the rods, they’re coated in a permanent lotion for up to 10 minutes before being cleaned and conditioned for up to another 10 minutes.
The whole thing can be done in as little as 30 minutes (but sometimes takes up to an hour depending on how pliable or unruly your lashes are), and the best part is that lash lifts can last much longer than lash extensions with proper care– up to three months!
LASH TINTING
If you happen to be so lucky as to have perfect eyelashes but find them a tad on the light side, our lash tinting service can totally eliminate the need for mascara. Lash tinting follows the same process as the lash lift, applying a custom-blended hue to both your bottom and top lashes.
It only takes about 10 minutes for lash tint to be applied, set and removed, so lash tinting is an ideal add-on service while you’re waiting for hair color to set or after a brow or makeup application appointment. It also makes the perfect complement to a lash lift!
Like our lash lift and lash extensions, lash tinting is completely safe and can really reduce the time is takes to get ready in the mornings. The results can last for up to three months, but we recommend using an oil free makeup remover to increase longevity.
