As we head into Labor Day weekend, we at Authentic Beauty are once again getting geared up for fall.
The weather is finally starting to cool off, and we have begun to think about fall fashion (boots!), and, more importantly, fall beauty.
The fall 2012 runways were filled with fabulous fashion and makeup trends.
Fall 2012 makeup is luxurious, dramatic, and romantic.
The color palette, reflected not only in the clothing but makeup as well includes traditional fall tones, accented by cheerful pops of unexpected color.
Our fall makeup looks reflect this:
Deep teal winged liner pairs perfectly with peachy glossed lips: an unexpected color combo that feels fresh for fall.
Inspired by the Tracy Reese (shown) and Anna Sui runway looks, this is a great way to add a pop of color to your look without overwhelming your features. 
Slate green smoky eyes, inspired by the Jason Wu runway, are surprisingly soft and wearable, and breathe new life into the ever-popular smoky eye. 
Deep red lips, a fall makeup wardrobe staple, are popping up all over in varying intensities.
Whether it’s a tangerine red, or a deep bordeaux that speaks to your authentic self, a deep lip is the quickest way to transition into the fall season.
Among the designers that showed deep red lips this season: Gucci (shown), Givenchy, and Bottega Venneta, among a host of others.
Smoky eyes reigned supreme on the runways- as they always do, season after season.
This season’s hottest smoky eyes were done in smoldering shades of browns and taupes.
Burberry Prorsum (shown), Loewe, and Louis Vuitton are among the many designers who showed versions of this hazy look.
Nude lips and contoured cheeks allow the eyes to take center stage.
