Holiday Look #4: Ice Queen

Baby, it really is cold outside, so the final Authentic Beauty 2010 Holiday Look is incredibly appropriate. The Ice Queen is a shimmery, frost-bitten look with sparkling white lids, frostbitten pink cheeks, and an icy pale pink pout. It’s really stunning & I love it with a sexy, little black cocktail dress or even a shimmery silver or white or pale blue!

As always start with clear, flawless skin. To achieve that, simply cover up blemishes with our 3 in 1 foundation. Remember an important aspect of this look is that “just came off the slopes” rosy glow.  To achieve this, brush on Pink Petal blush. Glisten Up Shimmer Cream can also be used to achieve that chilly glow; I recommend it on your cheekbones. This shimmer cream also looks great on the decollete, browbone, or the cupid’s bow- wherever you want a little extra glow. I love the shimmer on the browbone because it really opens up your eyes. This shimmer cream is great for really any special occasion & I would recommend that is an item you invest in because you can use it all year.

For the eye, you’ll want to blend a white pencil onto the lid, and top it with Glitzy Shimmer powder to make your eyes pop. Add some black liner and Black Onyx eyeshadow along your lashline and in the crease & outer corner. For a little extra drama, add Exotic Shimmer powder below lower lashline. Also add some fake lashes or stop in for Robyn’s eyelash extensions. I know you’ll love them!

Lips are very sex kittenish with a pale pink neutral mouth. I like to fill in the lips with a Soft Pink pencil topped with Must Have Gloss. And if you really want to make your lips shine, use A Little Glitzy gloss in the center for super pouty pucker. I love this look not only for the holiday season, but it can also work well for New Year’s Eve. As I said, I love the shimmer cream for really any special occasion or a night on the town with the girls. I would love to show you how to do this look or any of our other holiday  looks, so stop by & see me or any other of my incredibly talented artists or book an appointment  online.
