Pure Fashion Show

Pure Fashion Show

As always everyone knows I love to be a part of events in the community & I am especially thrilled to be a part of the Pure Fashion Show this coming Sunday, April 25 at Opera Nighclub. Pure Fashion is an international faith-based program for girls ages 14 through 18 that helps young women re-discover and re-affirm their innate value and authentic femininity. Pure Fashion is a character formation program that enhances not only a young woman’s external appearance, but more importantly, her interior beauty and balanced self confidence. This, very obviously, goes hand in hand with the idea of the Image Journey & Authentic Beauty, so it was a no-brainer for the studio to be involved. The Authentic Beauty make-up artists & I will be doing all the models’ make-up. The models’ hair will be styled by Balance Salon’s CJ Nicotera and her team. Some of the models will be Bert’s Big Adventure Kids & I know you remember I am passionate about that!

The show will be emceed by my fabulous friends, Corinna Allen of CBS Atlanta’s Better Mornings and Stacey Weiss, the co-founder of Bert’s Big Adventure. The 40 Pure Fashion models will introduce fashions from JCPenney and Carter’s Babies and Kids, and will showcase looks in three fashion scenes titled, “Peace,” “Love” and “Pure.” The “Peace” fashion scene will preview a fresh take on sporty & casual looks. The “Love” fashion scene will be dressy ensembles for school dances & proms, and the “Pure” fashion scene will reveal the quintessential spring ensembles for casual but special occasions.

In addition to the fashion show, Jonny Diaz, a nationally recognized contemporary Christian musician, will perform. He is well known for his major record label debut album, More Beautiful You, which charted on Billboard magazine’s Top Heatseekers and Top Christian Albums charts.  Diaz has also garnered a following here in Atlanta through his brother Matt Diaz, an Atlanta Braves player. I like all kinds of music, but his is especially inspirational & I think it will be cool to hear him live.

Anyone & everyone is invited to attend the ticketed fashion show and concert. Single regular admission tickets are $30, and a pair of regular admission tickets is $50. Guests may also purchase VIP/backstage tickets. These tickets include on-stage/backstage seating, a meet and greet with Jonny Diaz, Corinna Allen, and Bert Weiss before the show and a backstage glimpse at the fashion show. Single VIP/backstage tickets are $50, and a pair of VIP/backstage tickets are $90.
