Organic Spray Tan Service at Authentic Beauty
No matter how pale or dark you are, Authentic Beauty has you covered-literally! Our organic spray tan service is a fantastic fit for all skin types and tones and our organic tanning solution delivers an even tan all over your body. Bonus! Our spray tan formula contains good-for-your-skin moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients. That’s because our solutions are long-lasting, organic and are boosted with vitamins and minerals.
We carry everything from the lightest solution for a delicate glow to a deep dark rich tan. And our talented and licensed spray tan specialists are wizards at creating the perfect solution customized specifically for you, your coloring and your desired results.
Before you come for a spray tan appointment, we ask all our clients to shower, exfoliate, and shave before your visit but do not apply any lotions prior to your session. Other than that, be prepared to be wowed. Our mobile “Spray Salon” is an enclosed pop-up tent in a private room that provides privacy and is designed to catch any over-spray too.
To extend the life of your tan, we recommend following these steps to keep your glow going strong. Immediately after your sunless tanning session (the day you got your tan)
- Wait at least 4 hours to wash your hands
- Do not put on tight clothing until at least 4 hours after your tan application.
- Do not exercise (first day). Perspiring immediately after tanning alters the chemical reaction of the solution changing its color.
- Do not swim or immerse yourself in water on the first day.
- Do not apply moisturizer.
Post tan care
- Wait at least 8 hours before showering. We recommend waiting until the next day. You will see color washing off the first time you shower. This is the cosmetic color guide in the solution, so the technician is ensuring your tan is even during the application process. The added benefit is that you are instantly tan when you leave your appointment!
- Apply moisturizer after the shower and every day after your tanning session. This will help prolong your tan. We recommend the ones we sell at Authentic Beauty because they are specially designed for sunless tanning.
- Do not take long hot baths or showers. And use a special body wash that is designed for spray tans. Using regular body wash can fade your tan.
- The ocean and chlorine from a pool or jacuzzi can cause your tan to fade prematurely. Avoid the use of any products containing salicylic acid.
