Is there anything sexier than a metallic eye and deep vampy lips when the weather starts to cool? Talk about va va va voom! Berry hued lips were all the rage this season, and they came in all shades, which makes this the perfect fall lip color for anyone. Pair it with on-trend but very wearable metallic eyes for just the right amount of sex appeal.
We named this Fall makeup look from our Rebel with a Cause collection for mathematician and physicist Emilie du Chatelet whose French translation of Isaac Newton’s Principia is still in use today. Although she began a love affair with philosopher Voltaire, her love of science outlasted the romance and made her one of the world’s first female scientists. We’re sure she’ll make you want to grab your bunsen burner and beakers and do some experimenting of your own!
Designers including Balmain, Phillip Plein, Valentino, La Perla, Brandon Maxwell and many more featured some of our favorite metallic eye (in golds, coppers, silvers, reds and more) and berry lip looks. Of course, the metallic eyes and berry lips weren’t always seen together, which made us want to AB it up for Fall 2017!

Fall Makeup Tutorial: The Emilie
Start by cleansing and prepping your skin with our Organic Spa Cream Cleanser, Organic Spa Toner, Organic Spa Intense Moisture Moisturizer and Sonia Roselli Water Balm.
Then, apply our Tinted Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 over your entire face in a color that works with your skin tone using our Morphe M439 round buffing brush. Blend well for an even, luminous complexion.
Next, apply our Magic 3-in-1 Foundation as needed over your face where additional coverage is desired.
Apply our Zodiac Liquid Shimmer eyeshadow evenly over your lids, followed by a layer of our gorgeous Gold Powder Illuminator #3 on top of the Zodiac.
For the rest of your eyelids, Bronzite eyeshadow is applied to the crease area for added definition (if desired), followed by our amazing Brow Highlighter beneath the brow.
Next, line your eyes with Sienna Gel Liner, and finish with two coats of Blinc Amplified Black mascara.
On your cheeks, apply Bronzed Beauty Duo just beneath the cheekbones for a light contour effect, and follow with an application of the Illuminator #3 on the tops of your cheeks for a natural glow.
Finally, for the perfect burgundy lip, line and fill your lips with our Chocolate gel lip pencil, followed by an even coat of our Liquid Matte lipstick in Carpe Venom.
