We’re all about Jezebel Magazine this summer & some other things

As I have mentioned & most of ya’ll already know, Authentic Beauty has been featured in Jezebel Magazine many times over these past few years (most recently voted as the Best Makeup Artist in Atlanta). I’m very grateful to Beth Weitzman, Jezebel’s editor & the rest of her staff for having so much confidence in me & my artists. Yet again this year, in the June issue, Authentic Beauty was mentioned three times!

First, we were asked to do the make-up for the photo spread of the 2010 Most Eligible Atlantans. Actually Leslie did nearly all of  these beautiful people with some help from Susan Muscari and Crystal Rock. The make-up & everyone looked great. Leslie took care of a few of the ladies  for the Most Eligible party last Thursday at the Gold Room. Jezebel’s party at the Gold Room was incredible! First, I did Beth’s make-up that night & then we went on to party with the special guest, singer Sara Barielles. She has such an amazing voice! Char & I loved her concert & we loved getting to see some old friends out that night. It’s been hard to go out as much these days with what we are doing with the studio, so I’m glad I was able to make it. We were also was able to stop by 10 Degrees South’s World Cup Watching party on the way home. It was great to see Justin & Kelly & spend some time at 10 Degrees! I love that restaurant. I also had dinner there with my mother ( who retired from teaching after 40 years) this past Saturday night, which was a blast. If you haven’t been yet stop by after you are done with your brows or makeup-they are right down the street!

Now back to Jezebel. Not only did we do all the Most Eligible Atlantans’ make-up for the June issue, but I also did my friend, Michele Caplinger’s make-up for her feature article in the June issue. And under Michele’s “Top City Picks,” she named Authentic Beauty for Best Make-up Application & Eyebrow Shaping (“Alyson Hoag for eyebrows and understated, natural beauty and [Leslie] Hines for full-on, high drama looks.”). I am so honored! Michele, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

AND…last but not least Authentic Beauty’s own lash diva, Robyn Fujimoto was sited for her amazing work as the lash extension expert in the city!

Tonight my team & I are hosting a networking summer soiree at the newest venue in Sandy Springs, {three} sheets, in Citywalk. It starts at 6 & will be a blast! I’m so glad that Ryan Akly, the son of my fantastic client, Gloria, has agreed to have us! I hope everyone is able to stop by & say hello as well as have a drink & toast to a great summer with Authentic Beauty!

If you can’t make tonight, stop by the studio & check out our progress. No invitation or appointment necessary but if you do need an appointment be sure to use our online scheduling.
