Enter Authentic Beauty’s Image Journey Contest and you could win a complete makeover including our signature service- the Image Journey: a self discovery interactive makeup lesson which allows you to find out what inspires you, what you want to look like and the tools and techniques to author your ideal look!
Authentic Beauty’s Image Journey Contest also includes a facial, hair services, a free 90 minute makeup lesson and all the makeup and tools used during your session. The contest runs from January 17th through February 11th. (EXTENDED THROUGH FEBRUARY 28TH)
THE IMAGE JOURNEY CONTEST
To enter the contest, email your name, phone number and a before picture to [email protected]. When you apply, each participant will receive Authentic Beauty’s Image Journey Homework via email.
Complete the homework which includes creating your own Image Journey Pinterest board–pinning iconic images of makeup looks that look and feel true to your Authentic Self. Be sure to share your Pinterest board with Authentic Beauty.
Once you’ve shared your board with us, we will share our board with you. Then pin your top 4 images to Authentic Beauty’s Image Journey Pinterest board.
On February 11th, ( EXTENDED TO MARCH 1) a winner will be chosen and notified by email or phone. The winner will also be announced on Authentic Beauty’s Facebook page.
WHAT IS THE IMAGE JOURNEY?
The Image Journey helps you find and then create an exterior image that is an expression of your inner, Authentic Self. It allows you to reflect on what you love, what you resonate with, and how you personally define beauty in regards to makeup.
WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Unless you have actually done the work to find out what you really like, you are at the mercy of someone else telling you how you SHOULD look. There are a lot of talented makeup artists and image consultants out there willing to assist you; however, they are just dressing you up. You need to develop your own sense of style and then ask the consultants or artists to assist you. That’s where Authentic Beauty and the Image Journey comes in!
IMAGE JOURNEY HOMEWORK
You will have simple “homework” that will allow you to reflect upon and discover what images, styles and looks inspire you. Then, you will create your own Image Journey collage with images that you find inspiring. Using Pinterest and any visuals you find appealing, pin those images to your Pinterest board.
YOUR IMAGE JOURNEY SESSION
Be sure to share your Image Journey Pinterest Board with Authentic Beauty so that your makeup artist can interpret your collage with you and work with you to develop your own personal style. Also, please bring your current makeup bag. It is important for us to examine what products, tools and techniques you are currently using and employing. Then, your artist will use as much of what you have to create your unique look as well as recommending a few new products or tools –if needed.
Your 90 minute makeup lesson also includes a free follow up visit and a face chart with step by step instructions so that you can recreate the makeup and techniques yourself. You will leave with your ideal look- a look that’s truly your own!
