Authentic Beauty’s Spring 2017 Makeup Collection: Belle Epoque

The Makeup and Fashion Forecast for Spring 2017

Inspired by the independent, free-thinking women we idolized in our youth, and taking a page from the Spring 2017 Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week, we’ve re-imagined three seasonal makeup trends just perfect for taking you through Spring and into Summer.

Pretty in Pink, Blue Velvet and Cherry Bomb are the three very wearable looks in our Spring 2017 Belle Epoque makeup collection, and we think they’re so good they belong in the movies!

They come together in Belle Epoque– named for the Beautiful Era of Western European history marked by peace, optimism, prosperity, innovation and artistic expression. This collection is as diverse as it is beautiful, and we think you’ll find one (or three) that is a true reflection of your authentic self!

From L to R, top to bottom: Cushnie et Ochs, Carolina Herrera, Fenty PUMA by Rihanna, Christian Siriano, Jason Wu, Victoria Beckham, Adam Selman, Wunderkind

Bold lips and statement eyes in electric colors, fresh glowing skin and all over blush in pink hues met sleek hair, messy ponies and braids galore at the Spring 2017 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York late last year.

We were amped up by the vibrant color blocked lips at Cushnie et Ochs and Jason Wu and wowed by the modern smoky eyes at Carolina Herrera. The full-face pink walking the catwalks of Fenty PUMA by Rihanna, Adam Selman and Wunderkind made us blush with adoration, and even the  blue eye shadows and liner at Christian Siriano, Victoria Beckham and many more left us inspired to translate the look into a wearable style for every woman.

We got hard to work, put our creative thinking caps on and envisioned three utterly modern takes on what can only be described as a bit of a throwback season for beauty.

Belle Epoque: Spring 2017 Seasonal Trends Makeup Collection from Authentic Beauty Makeup Salon and Hair Studio

Pretty in Pink: Doing the flip wasn’t only a hairstyle this season. Mix up your makeup with blush on your eyes and lip gloss on your cheeks to create this totally rosy look that’s not just for Sixteen Candles.

Blue Velvet: Smoky, smudgy, seductive blue eyes were the runway rage for Spring 2017. Think you can’t rock the blue? Pair navy liner with a bronze smoky eye and nude lip to make it everyday wearable.

Cherry Bomb: Bold lips in orange, hot pink and even two-tone color blocked made big statements this Spring. Want to make an impression with statement lips? Go for classic red and a fresh, dewy face.
