Organic Spray Tanning

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, more than 3.5 million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed annually. And this number will keep increasing if we do not teach those around us to protect themselves from the sun’s harmful UVA & UVB rays. There are some simple ways to reduce this rising number & primarily, the first & most vital is to simply wear sunscreen everyday, year-round even when it’s cloudy. Secondly, it is important to not “bake” in the sun. Sure lying out by the pool or at the beach & relaxing with a drink is certainly fun, but the sunspots, potential risk for cancer & serious burns attributed to this is absolutely not fun nor is it safe for your skin & your body.

While I realize that many of you just want to kick back & relax in the sun, there is a better way to be bronzed & beautiful. With the weather warming up now & the sun coming out, I want to share some information about Spray Tanning with you. Spray Tanning is a safe, effective & a beautiful golden finish spray tan that leaves you with a sunkissed bronzed color.

Our organic spray solution delivers an even tan all over the body as well as contains moisturizing & anti-aging ingredients that are good for the skin. The company uses a cutting edge spray gun that delivers fantastic results in mere minutes. There are also no barrier creams or lotions to put on beforehand to protect your palms, fingernails, toenails & bottom of your feet. With a person spraying the solution on your body rather than a machine, it is more exact & precise. The spray gun mists a very fine spray thus nothing is too intense or obvious. You are left with an all over glow that looks as if you spent months in the tropics. We pride ourselves in being able to achieve the most beautiful shades to blend to anyone’s skin tone, so no matter how pale or dark you are, Authentic Beauty has you covered-literally!

While a single spray tan can take just minutes, preparing for it is a little more involved than just a simple shower. Because you want a smooth surface for the spray solution to adhere to, you need to make sure you exfoliate your entire body very well. Also make sure you have shaved your legs about a day before you spray. We suggest showering several hours before you spray as you want to make sure your skin is completely dry. Immediately after a shower & when you have dried off, your skin will feel dry to the touch but the layers are still somewhat damp & the skin has a lot more moisture in it than you would think. When you are about to be sprayed, the additional moisture is a bad thing. It will counteract the effectiveness of the spray. Also do not apply any lotions or creams to your skin after your shower because the solution will not adhere properly to the skin; the lotions & creams essentially act as a barrier between your skin & the spray. Many deodorants will also act as a barrier between your skin & spray tanning solution. The solution is anti-aging, contains ingredients that improve the health of your skin & most importantly, does not have a nasty smell like some other spray tans. Our formula has a light fresh fragrance. I look forward to you experiencing our organic spray tan.
